Hot Desking in Cork: What It Actually Costs in 2026

What Is Hot Desking, Exactly?

Hot desking is the renting of a desk for a period of time from a few hours to monthly rental that can go on for years. In some cases you can have a dedicated desk but in most cases you grab a desk that is free a “Hot” desk and work from there.

Hot Desk Prices in Cork: Daily & Half-Day Rates

Every day I am asked this question in some form or the other “How much does it cost?” “What’s the price?” or something similar. In most cases people are very pleasantly surprised as they think it will cost a lot more. We try to help people by being as upfront and transparent as possible about our prices. This combined with our flexibility means that you come in and use one of Culture Co-Working’s 3 locations, Marina, City and Lee, up to 4 hours for just €15 + vat.

What’s Included in the Price

Even better if you sign up for one of our membership packages using Culture Co-Working could cost you as little as a cup of coffee a day. Our unlimited hot desking plan costs €199 + vat for a month and that works out at €6.42 + vat per day over 31 days but even if you say use it for 20 days it is €9.95 + vat per day. For this price you get the following:

  • Free Tea / Coffee / Filtered Water
  • 24/7 access
  • 6 Hours credits to use in our meeting rooms.
  • Free Parking in the Marina
  • Access to all three of our locations

This is why people are surprised when they see the value that we offer. On top of this there are the benefits of:

  • Social interaction with other people
  • Work / Life balance.
  • Networking and community events

Hot Desking at Culture City, Marina & Lee

Culture Co-Working has three hot desk locations across Cork, each with a slightly different feel:

Culture City, at 2 Connell St, Lapps Quay, is the most central — ideal if you need to be close to clients or Cork’s main business district. Culture City

Culture Marina, at Unit P5, Marina Commercial Park, Centre Park Road, offers on-site parking and a growing community of founders and remote teams, including the Stripe Cork Community events series. Culture Marina

Culture Lee, at 13 South Terrace, is a quieter option close to the city centre — a good fit if you want coworking without a busier atmosphere. Culture Lee

How to Book a Hot Desk in Cork

Walk-ins are welcome at all three locations, but booking ahead means you’re guaranteed a seat, especially during busier periods. You can book directly through our hot desking page and choose whichever location suits you best.

This is why Co-Working is growing every year, it makes a lot of sense to people financially. We offer free trial days as well so you can see just what we offer.

FAQ

Do I need a membership to hot desk?
No — hot desking is entirely pay-as-you-go. Memberships are only worth considering if you’re using the space regularly enough that a monthly rate works out cheaper.

Can I book a hot desk for just one day?
Yes. Single-day and half-day bookings are available with no minimum commitment, at any of our three Cork locations.

Can I rent a desk for a few days at a time?
Yes — you can book multiple single days as needed, or move to a part-time membership if you’re doing this regularly, which works out more cost-effective from a few days a week onward.
